'Yield to Love'
This is a lovely Mid-tone Rose shade with plum and berry added in for good measure.
Perfect for the upcoming Autumn months. I can see me wearing this a lot when it gets a bit colder.
The Cremesheen formula makes it lovely and creamy to apply. Of course has their classic vanilla scent and has a few hours of wear before I find I need to reapply.
A soft satiny finish makes it a pretty shade to wear.
Electric Cool Eye-shadow

'Super Watt'
This eye-shadow is a bit of a strange consistency, a sort of cream - gel -pigment hybrid.
Lovely to apply. Have tried with both my MAC 217 brush and finger tips and have to say a better finish is achieved when this is applied with your fingertips. Seems to just glide on nicely and the shade I chose looks good on it's own or equally with a crease defining shade such as MAC's satin taupe eye-shadow to blend it out.
Super Watt is a very pretty bronze with a golden sheen to it. Reminds me a little of Maybelline's Colour tattoo in 'On and On Bronze'
MAC describe this a light shimmering taupe and I agree. It gives a lovely colour and sheen to the eyelid and is ever so pretty to wear.
Fluidline Eye Pencil
Eye-liner in 'Black Brilliance'
This is their fluid-line in a stick form.
Not tried the pot version of this fluid-line gel eye-liner, but when I saw this was being released as part of A Novel Romance collection I was intrigued...
I thought 'This is something I can work with!'. Previously having been a bit scared to try the gel fluidline for fear of the sheer mess i'd create!
Benefits' They're Real Push-Up liner wet my appetite for a cat eye flick. Inspiring me to line my upper lashes and do a cute little flick! Something I always gave a miss due to having a bit of a wonky hand and not enough practise.
I have to say I really like this MAC eye-liner, it's nice and easy to use and creates and a actual black line that does not budge. Takes a good few swipes of my bioderma sensibo micellar water to remove! But to me that is good news. I want to know that I can line my eyes in the morning and it still be there in place by the afternoon and not halfway down my cheek.
So... so far so good, have found this pencil easy to use and like I said stays put.
I didn't find it as effective on my lower waterline, was difficult to get an actual solid black line so I will be using this to line my upper lashes only.
