Bioderma Sensibo H2O Micellar Water Cleanser, worth the hype??

Bioderma Sensibo H2O
Micellar Water / Cleanser

Yet another raved about product, I was super eager to try out.

I am so glad that this lovely gentle cleanser has become readily available to us beauty geeks in the UK. I got mine from www.escentual.com

I absolutely love this cleanser, it’s as gentle on your skin as water.
My sensitive skin doesn’t feel tight or irritated after using.

It effectively removes all traces of make-up on both face and eyes including waterproof mascara, eye-liner and all types of eye products.
It has cucumber fruit extract, which is soothing and has a calming effect.
Doesn't contain alcohol, is soap and fragrance free so doesn't irritate or leave it reddened.
No need to rinse.

From reading the bottle it says:
The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro - emulsify impurities while maintaining the cutaneous balance.
Translation....
I think what this means, is the micelles draw out the impurities, instead of spreading them around your face. Leaving your skin clean and fresh.

I use this religiously morning and night without fail. It really is amazing.
Night time to remove make up.
A few dabs on a cotton pad, sweep around my face a few times then do a double cleanse on my eyelids, just to ensure i have removed all traces of eye make-up.
I then use ear buds with this solution on to remove final traces of eyeliner along the waterline.

Morning time. I know what you are thinking... why cleanse in the morning if you have cleansed at night? Well think sweat, dead skin cells and flaky skin but also to start with a good clean base for foundation and makeup to sit on.

Another very similar cleanser is the L’Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution.
That was a bit of a mouthful!!
This is easier to get hold of, in shops such as boots, superdrug rather than just online.

Dissolves make-up, removes impurities and tones and soothes.
Can be used on the face, eyes and lips and again like bioderma it can be used on sensitive skin.
This one contains glycerin, meaning it’s nice and hydrating on your skin.
Doesn’t leave a trace and no need to rinse off.

Overall I highly recommend both of these cleansers and can see why the Bioderma is so popular.
It’s an all round cleanser for face, eyes and lips that is suitable for sensitive skin.
Does it all without stripping the skin, leaving it tight or needing to rinse.

Take time for you. Take care and look after yourself.
Thanks for popping by luv acesparklestar xoxo
